Kinetic typography, motion-graphics and VFX work for the music video, using typography and compositing as part of the track's visual rhythm.

Role

I created kinetic-typography, motion-graphics and VFX elements for the Git music video.

The typography was treated as moving visual material rather than as subtitles: scale, timing, position and compositing were used to make words participate in the rhythm and energy of the track.

Process

Music-driven motion work is a timing problem as much as a graphic one. The motion needs to feel attached to the performance without becoming mechanically synchronized to every beat.

The work therefore combined typography, compositing and effects into sequences that could carry emphasis, create transitions and reinforce the pace of the edit.

Why it belongs here

Alongside Tek Yol Müzik, this piece documents an earlier period of kinetic typography and motion experimentation. It provides useful continuity between my older After Effects/VFX work and the broader creative-technology practice represented elsewhere in the portfolio.
